About the Show
The Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree is the world’s largest celebration of simplicity! The Jamboree plays host to the latest and greatest in tiny houses, simple living, and sustainability across the nation. Tiny house owners, enthusiasts and curiosity seekers will gather this October in Arlington, Texas to attend workshops, meet with influential members of the community, and celebrate the movement. The event will also feature entertainment, food trucks, a local texas vendor fair, and more all in a family-friendly environment.
Reed Exhibitions and the Jamboree team have collaborated to bring you the 2017 Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree. Reed Exhibitions is the world’s largest events organizer, operating events such as New York Comic Con, the National Hardware Show, Star Wars Celebration, Penny Arcade Expo and more. The Jamboree group is a passionate team of enthusiasts, advocates, builders, and DIYers who founded the event in 2015.

Queuing to get into the show will open 1 hour before the show starts each morning
You can purchase your tickets online here . We highly recommend purchasing in advance.
If tickets are still available during the show, you can purchase them onsite at the ticketing area at the Arlington Convention Center.
Children 12 and under will be admitted for free and no ticket is required. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite
Tickets will not be mailed in advance. Simply print the email confirmation you receive when you complete the ticket ordering process and bring it with you to the queuing area at the Arlington Convention Center to redeem your tickets.
There are no refunds on tickets. Ticket holders assume all risk incidental to participation in all activities, loss or damage to property and release management, its employees and agents against any claims. And remember, be nice to everyone at the event. This will keep it fun and keep you out of trouble.
The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events.
We have established a security room at our shows to ensure effective communication and response.
Everyone attending the Show should be aware or the following security measures:
Security will be onsite at all times to assist you during all aspects of the Show
- Everyone must wear their Show badge at all times. This includes exhibitors, vendors, attendees, guests (speakers, talent, artists), professionals, press, staff, and crew.
- A fully operational security team following our vetted procedures is in place at the Show
- Bag checks may occur at the Show
- Walkthrough or hand held scanners may be used at the Show
- Any CCTV in operation at the Show is monitored and recorded
- Uniformed and undercover security may be in attendance at the Show
- Uniformed and undercover Police may be in attendance at the Show
- Canine Security and Detection may be used in or around the Show
Everyone attending is requested to:
- Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
- If you see something, say something. Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or out of place to Show staff or security immediately
- Remain patient and courteous during security checks and follow the instructions of Show staff and security at all times
- Properly dispose of your Show badge inside the venue or keep it as a souvenir – please do not sell it to scalpers or throw it away in trash cans outside the venue where it could be picked up
- Carry a valid form of photo ID at all times

Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
- offensive verbal comments
- physical assault and/or battery
- harassing or non-consensual photography or recording
- sustained disruption of panels, workshops and other events
- bathroom policing
- inappropriate physical contact
- unwelcome physical attention
in relation to, but not limited to:
- national origin
- gender identity
- gender presentation
- sexual orientation
- body size
- political affiliation
If a person engages in harassing behavior, THSLJ Staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the convention. Exhibitors, Attendees, Speakers, Guests, Professionals, Press, Staff, Volunteers and Security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment Policy.
Drones are not allowed inside the Arlington Convention Center or at the Jamboree.
Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter the event venue with a concealed handgun.
Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter the event venue with a handgun that is carried openly.
Management shall have sole discretion in any matter that it believes may affect public safety or be important to protect the integrity of the event.
Sorry, we do not provide child care services at this time.
Find a Jamboree staff member or security guard and we will help you locate your missing party. We suggest that when you arrive at the Jamboree you and your party pick a location to meet in case anyone does get lost. In addition, we highly recommend filling out an information card for your child to carry with the following information: Kid’s name, Parent’s Name, Parent’s Phone Number.
If you have pets, please leave them at home. The Arlington Convention Center will not allow animals — except for service animals — into the building.

- Please be aware that based on design, many tiny houses are not handicap accessible. We have asked the builders to provide materials with images of their house’s interior so that they can still be viewed. In addition, there will be a park model in the outdoor village that will be accessible via a ramp.
Other Useful Information
While some vendors might accept credit cards, many do not. There are ATMs located at the Arlington Convention Center, but beware, the lines may be long. We suggest stopping at an ATM before you arrive.
For the most part, you’re welcome to take still pictures and video at the Jamboree. Note that recording (including live-streaming apps) and flash photography are not permitted in panels and workshops. Also, please understand that Guests may or may not pose for photographs with Fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
While in panels and workshops, please turn your cell phones off or to vibrate. If you must take or make a call, please step outside.
In purchasing this ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the Event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases THSLJ/Reed Exhibitions from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits THSLJ/Reed Exhibitions and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Reed Exhibitions. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the Event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the Event.
Due to supply and demand and the limited number of seats available, unfortunately not everyone will get to see all the panels. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the panel you want to see.
Tickets and/or badges (Tickets) for the event (Event) are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the Ticket is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the Ticket without compensation. Each Ticket must be used by the same person (the Attendee ) for each day of the Event. The Event’s operating hours, schedules, guests and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each Ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event. All panels, autographing, photo ops, special events, show features and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee. Reed Exhibitions is not responsible for lost or stolen Tickets or Badges. The Attendee acknowledges there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Attendees of the Event and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this Ticket/Badge and attending the Event, the Attendee freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Attendee may sustain as a result of attending the Event, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of Reed Exhibitions/THSLJ.
You agree that the Event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to Reed Exhibitions/THSLJ to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
