Welcome to the Jam Fam! To help you make the most out of the unforgettable experience, we’ve gathered the most important info you need below.
Follow @tinyjamboree on Twitter for up to the minute updates on lines, capacity and availability for programming and other events going on at the show.
Make sure your hotels are booked. The Jamboree has put together the best options for your stay in Arlington. You also want to make sure you are familiar with how to get to the convention center and the parking details.
Did you order your badge online prior to the show? You will enter through either the South Entrance or the North Entrance (use the North Entrance if you are coming from the Sheraton Hotel) and head straight to queuing. Please be sure to bring your confirmation ID on your phone or printed out.
Need to purchase tickets at the show? You’re going to enter through the Buy Tickets entrance and head to the ticketing area. After purchasing your tickets, you will re-renter through the south entrance and get in the queue line. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to avoid the long buy tickets line at the show.
Our Outdoor Village will feature an abundance of tiny house builders and their incredible designs. You can tour a variety of homes including bus conversions, van conversions, yurts, park models, and of course, moveable tiny houses.
The DIY Village will feature 21 tiny house structures that have been built by hand! Tiny house dwellers from all over the country will relocate their living quarters for the weekend and be on-hand to share their stories and insight. Their amazing work will provide you with inspiration and a fresh perspective.
The Jamboree programming is a huge weekend highlight. Attendees with common interests gather together to listen to featured speakers talk about their experiences, share their expertise and even answer your questions! Here is a breakdown of the programming:

As you walk the indoor and outdoor portion of the show, you’ll see plenty of our awesome exhibitors. At their booths, you’ll have the opportunity to explore products and services for all your tiny house needs. We’ll also have options for sustainability, appliances, smart home, and landscaping. Don’t forget to stop by the show store to grab some official merchandise.
Looking for some family friendly activities? Then the Kids Zone, sponsored by DFW Child, is the place to be. The Kids Zone is located in the Outdoor Village and we’re packing it full of hands-on workshops, arts & crafts and more. Did we also mention kids 12 & under get in for free?
If you are bringing kids, we highly recommend filling out an information card for your child to carry with the following information: Kid’s name, Parent’s Name, Parent’s Phone Number. We also suggest creating a meeting point, such as the info booth in the Indoor Exhibit Hall.
We recommend bringing a few things:
- REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE AND SNACKS – so you don’t have to wait in line to buy water or a snack and you’ll make sure you’re hydrated and energized for the weekend!
- SURVIVAL KIT – the necessities you don’t think about until you need them: tissues, hand sanitizer, Band-Aids, aspirin, chapstick, etc.
- CASH – the ATMs often have long lines and charge a fee, so save yourself the time and money and just bring cash!
- CAMERA – Snap some pics of the houses or the new friends you make at the show! Make sure to use #tinyhousejam when you share to social! Remember that recording (including livestreaming apps) and all photography are not permitted in the programming sessions. Understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs. Everyone has their right to privacy and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
- BLANKET – The Village Stage does not have seating. Please bring a blanket to sit on!
- POWER – A long day at the Jamboree can quickly drain those devices in your pocket. Bring your chargers with you or stop by the charging station, sponsored by Humless, in the Indoor Exhibit Hall.
Make sure to follow us on social media. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Share your experience using #tinyhousejam. You can also stop by one of our Meetups to get together with other attendees to talk about your favorite things.
